Dear Students,
The new @Connect – Students Lifetime Email Service will officially be launched next Tuesday 18th March 2014. Based on Microsoft’s Office 365 cloud solution, this service will bring you a set of collaboration tools including email, calendaring, document authoring and other social networking functions, as well as retaining the @Connect email address after graduation. In the next few weeks, you will receive an email invitation from ITSO to opt-in the @Connect Service. If you choose to do so, your email address will be in the form of <account name>@connect.ust.hk, and retained for lifetime. Please watch out for our email invitation!
To learn more about the @Connect Service, please come and visit our @Connect Roadshow Booth located outside Chiang Chen Lecture Theater (LT J), on 17th – 18th March 2014 (10:00am – 5:00pm on both days). Representatives from Microsoft and ITSO will be there to show you the functions of Office365 and to answer any queries you may have about @Connect service.
With sponsorship from Microsoft, 200 backpacks will be given out on 18th March (Tuesday) to students successfully opt-in on the spot to @Connect service. At the beginning of every hour (i.e. 10am, 11am… 5pm), a quota of 25 backpacks will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis. So, don’t wait, be the pioneers to @Connect!
